I am a Clinical Psychologist (Registrar) and the founder of New Beginnings Psychology Clinic. With a background in both psychology and nursing, I bring a holistic, trauma-informed approach to therapy, considering the deep connection between the mind and body.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel supported on your healing journey. I believe meaningful change happens when we feel understood, so I strive to be approachable, adaptable, and trustworthy. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I tailor my approach to your needs, working at your pace. My practice is neuroaffirming and client-centered, with a focus on helping you navigate trauma, emotional patterns, and personal growth.
I specialize in working with adolescents (16+), adults, and older adults, using evidence-based approaches such as attachment-focused and somatic therapies, Schema Therapy, and EMDR. Before becoming a psychologist, I worked as a Registered Nurse for eight years, gaining experience in public mental health, private practice, and school settings.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading fantasy novels, listening to podcasts, and spending time in nature—often with my two beloved cats by my side.
I look forward to supporting you in your journey toward healing.
I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my priority is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and tailored to your needs—whether you’re looking for deep trauma processing, practical coping strategies, or simply a space to explore your thoughts and emotions. I believe that healing happens in connection, so I take the time to build a trusting relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself.
I have a deep passion for working with trauma, neurodivergence, and complex mental health concerns, and I take a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed approach to therapy. This means I recognize and respect the ways your brain and body have adapted to keep you safe, even when those patterns no longer serve you. Together, we work toward healing in a way that feels empowering and sustainable for you.
Outside of therapy, I find joy in simple things—reading fantasy novels, cooking, spending time in nature, and relaxing with my two cats. I know that life can feel heavy at times, but I truly believe in the possibility of change, and I’d love to support you on your journey.
